Arrowhead fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Mukwonago on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1. The Warhawks' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Tanner Buhlmann was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over 6.2 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, Arrowhead saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brendan Foley, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. Ethan Kirley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Arrowhead's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Mukwonago, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

While Arrowhead had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
