Soccer Recap: Pleasanton Comes Up Short

Pleasanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls). If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pleasanton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Uvalde, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Pleasanton and Uvalde will both be playing Hondo the next time they take the pitch. Uvalde will host Hondo at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th, while Pleasanton will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on February 11th.
