Volleyball Recap: Stockdale Victorious

Stockdale saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against the McFarland Cougars by a score of 2-0.

Lauren James paced Stockdale's offense, picking up nine kills. James got some help from Avery Norton and her 12 assists. James also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addison Villagomez, racking up three apiece.

Stockdale now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for McFarland, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Stockdale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Foothill on the 22nd. As for McFarland, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Arvin on the 23rd.
