Baseball Recap: Mater Bay Academy Takes a Loss

Mater Bay Academy lost against Coral Shores back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rays came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 14-4.

Mater Bay Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jostin Rosario, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that Rosario launched this season.

Mater Bay Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Coral Shores, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mater Bay Academy will venture away from home to face off against Marathon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coral Shores, they will head out to challenge Braddock at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
