Riverton won the last time they faced Taylorsville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Silverwolves took their game with ease, bagging a 65-16 victory over the Warriors. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Silverwolves had established a 45-point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Riverton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maggie Hamblin, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards. Hamblin is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Kenadee Farnsworth, who posted ten points in addition to six assists and six steals.

Riverton was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Taylorsville only posted one.

Taylorsville's loss came despite strong showings from Tessa Duke and Irelyn Mullins. Duke put up four points along with eight boards and three blocks, while Mullins had a point. Natalie Garcia-Tarango also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Riverton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Taylorsville, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Riverton has already played their next matchup (against Cyprus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Taylorsville, they will face off against Layton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
