Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Tigers vs. Glencoe Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Liberty Tigers challenge the Glencoe Panthers at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday... Liberty will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-17, which was the final score in Liberty's tilt against Porter on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 454th, while the Pirates are ranked 184th).

Meanwhile, Glencoe was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 35-30 to Wellston.

Glencoe's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
