The Lee Generals will head out on the road to face off against the Foley Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
After soaring to six goals the game before, Lee were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 10-0 walloping at the hands of Buckhorn. While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Buckhorn is ranked 47th).
Meanwhile, Foley's last contest on Tuesday was all defense as neither team scored a goal. They and Spanish Fort finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Foley has been dealt a draw since February 3rd.
