Basketball Recap: Kennewick Comes Up Short

Kennewick lost against Richland back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kennewick Lions took a hard 82-68 fall against the Richland Bombers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Kennewick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Richland, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Kennewick will take on Pasco in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Richland, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Southridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Richland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
