Football Game Preview: Normangee Panthers vs. Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs

Normangee is 0-3 against Corrigan-Camden since October of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Normangee has given up an average of 28.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Normangee managed to slip by Groveton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers lost 37-12 to the Indians on Friday.

Although Normangee took the loss, they still got scores from Kaleb Brooks and Marshall Harris.

Meanwhile, Corrigan-Camden was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Hearne 45-18. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four games by 27 points or more so far this season.

Normangee better focus on containing Derrick Reagie and William Ratliff as the pair were huge in Corrigan-Camden's win. Reagie rushed for 189 yards and three scores while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, while Ratliff rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. That's the most rushing touchdowns Reagie has posted since back in October of 2024.

Corrigan-Camden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 481 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Corrigan-Camden's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-3. As for Normangee, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Things could have been worse for Normangee, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 46-28 loss to Corrigan-Camden when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Reagie, who rushed for 265 yards and four TDs while picking up 13.9 yards per carry. Now that the Panthers know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
