Soccer Game Preview: Zane Trace vs. North Adams

The Zane Trace Pioneers will venture away from home to challenge the North Adams Green Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Zane Trace put up the most goals they have all season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Piketon as they made off with a 4-1 win. Zane Trace haven't had any issues with Piketon recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Zane Trace hit Piketon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sophia Williams (2), Gabi Mathis, and Bella Tisi.

Meanwhile, North Adams' game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They never let Waverly get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for North Adams' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-8-1. As for North Adams, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
