Volleyball Recap: LaGrange Comes Up Short

LaGrange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Fayette County Tigers. If the Grangers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Fayette County scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

LaGrange's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Fayette County, the win got them back to even at 15-15.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. LaGrange will square off against rival Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fayette County is set to challenge their familiar foe Troup County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
