Football Recap: Mundelein Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mundelein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 17-7 to the Libertyville Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Wildcats are ranked 95th).

Mundelein's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Libertyville, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mundelein will venture away from home to take on Warren Township at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Libertyville, they will head out to square off against Waukegan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
