Softball Recap: Pleasant Ridge Victorious

While Pleasant Ridge put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Horton. The Rams put the hurt on the Chargers with a sharp 13-0 win. The Rams not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28, 2024.

Maggie Lance was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.2 innings pitched. Lance was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Emily Goodson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Haley Heim, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Pleasant Ridge's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Horton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
