Soccer Recap: Landrum Comes Up Short

Landrum was the 2-1 winner over Pickens when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a 6-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Flame on Wednesday. Landrum have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They hit Pickens with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hector Gomez (2), Tristan Barker, and Enrique Rojas.

Landrum now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Pickens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

Landrum didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against High Point Academy on the 28th. As for Pickens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Daniel on the 25th.
