Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Mendota couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbia Eagles on Saturday. Mendota were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Columbia apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.
