The home team had won the previous three meetings between Joplin and Pryor, and Pryor kept the tradition alive. Joplin fell just short of Pryor by a score of 6-4 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Joplin's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pryor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Joplin will challenge Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pryor, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Branson on the 28th.
