Baseball Recap: Pleasant Hill Comes Up Short

Pleasant Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-1 to the Converse Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 17-1 defeat on Saturday.

Pleasant Hill's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Converse, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pleasant Hill will face off against Red River at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Converse, they will square off against Parkway at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
