Harlan has gone a perfect 7-0 against Marshall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hawks will face off against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Harlan is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Harlan came up short against O'Connor on Tuesday, falling 12-2.

Brooke Taulbert was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Savannah Cuadra also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Sotomayor hit Marshall with a four-run first inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams fell just short of the WILDCATS by a score of 9-8. The Rams have struggled against the WILDCATS recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Kaitlyn Bermea made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Baylie Flinn was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Harlan's record now sits at 1-6. As for Marshall, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Harlan was able to grind out a solid victory over Marshall when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 7-4. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
