Softball Recap: Baldwin County Tigers vs. Daphne Trojans
After flying high against Gulf Shores last Thursday, Baldwin County came back down to earth. The Baldwin County Tigers fell just short of the Daphne Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.
Madilyn Byrd spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
