Basketball Recap: Bell City's Losing Streak Snapped at Ten Games

Bell City came into Tuesday's game having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Hathaway Hornets with a sharp 60-37 win on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bruins considering their 23-point performance the matchup before.

Bell City's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 15-21. As for Hathaway, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 18-32.

Bell City has already played their next contest (against Episcopal of Acadiana), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hathaway will challenge Lacassine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lacassine knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 games -- so hopefully Hathaway likes a good challenge.
