Volleyball Recap: Covenant Life Beats Maryland School for the Deaf for Their Third Straight Victory

Covenant Life proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (113-112) Covenant Life actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 28-26, 16-25, 25-17, 21-25, 22-20.

Covenant Life's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Coming up, Covenant Life will be playing in front of their home fans against Frederick Force at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they will take on New Mexico School for the Deaf in a tournament on Friday.
