After flying high against Wood last Wednesday, Vacaville came back down to earth. The Bulldogs came up short against the River City Raiders on Monday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-9.

Vacaville's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for River City, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Vacaville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Rio Americano on the 8th. As for River City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Vanden on the 9th.
