Basketball Recap: Briarcrest Christian Takes a Loss

Briarcrest Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 66-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes on Saturday.

Briarcrest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Duncanville, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Briarcrest Christian and Duncanville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Saints see the court they'll take on Christian Brothers at 6:00 p.m. on January 16, 2026. As for Duncanville, their break will end when they face Rainier Beach at 1:30 p.m. on January 1, 2026.
