Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). Everything went their way against the West Scranton Invaders on Saturday as they made off with a 14-8 victory. Considering the Vikings have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Cooper Borowski was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off only one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Riverside let Chase Taddonio and Nicholas Bohenek run wild. Taddonio went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs, while Bohenek went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. With that strong performance, Taddonio is now averaging an impressive 3.5 RBI per game.
