Hanover won the last time they faced Quincy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hawks put the hurt on the Presidents with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Hawks, who have now won four contests in a row.
Hanover walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21, 25-20.
Tess Madden paced Hanover's offense, picking up 17 kills. Madden got some help from Sadie Chadwick and her 30 assists. Emma Hersey controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Hanover's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Quincy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Hanover has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against North Quincy on the 17th. As for Quincy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Pembroke on the 17th.
