Baseball Recap: Hugo Comes Up Short

Hugo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Battiest Panthers.

Hugo got a good showing from C.J. Ward, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Hugo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Battiest, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hugo will head out to challenge Antlers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Battiest, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Battiest Panthers face off against Tushka Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
