Soccer Game Preview: Collins Hill vs. Dunwoody

The Collins Hill Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Dunwoody Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Collins Hill fell victim to St. Pius X Catholic and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Golden Lions, falling 5-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Golden Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Dunwoody fought the good fight in their overtime match against North Paulding on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 6-5.

Collins Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Dunwoody, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Collins Hill suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Dunwoody when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Collins Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
