Baseball Recap: Thibodaux Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Thibodaux, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let the East St. John Wildcats get on the board and left with an 18-0 win on Thursday. The Tigers have beaten the Wildcats the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

Thibodaux pushed their record up to 15-13 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 5.75 runs across that stretch. As for East St. John, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

Looking ahead, Thibodaux will take on South Terrebonne at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East St. John, they will challenge Bourgeois at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
