Softball Recap: Lee Park Prep Takes a Loss

If Lee Park Prep was riding high fresh off their 21-3 takedown of Concord Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights came up short against the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks on Thursday, falling 16-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-8 back in March.

Lee Park Prep has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Forsyth Home Educators, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee Park Prep will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Charlotte Latin at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they will venture away from home to challenge Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
