Volleyball Recap: Covenant Academy Falls to Central Georgia Arts in First Game of Season

Covenant Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to Central Georgia Arts on Tuesday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Central Georgia Arts apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 23-25, 25-7.

Central Georgia Arts' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Covenant Academy will host First Presbyterian Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Central Georgia Arts, they will face off against Mount de Sales Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
