Volleyball Recap: Byram Hills Takes a Loss

Byram Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ketcham Storm.

Byram Hills took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 29-27, 24-26, 25-20, 15-13.

Ketcham found their leader in freshman Ariel Rosenquest, who had 23 assists and eight digs. Another player making a difference was Jordan Carmichael, who had 22 assists.

Byram Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ketcham, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Byram Hills has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Blind Brook on the 11th. As for Ketcham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Sleepy Hollow on the 11th.
