Softball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts, falling 18-3. The Timberwolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Grey Ghosts from their previous meeting back in March of 2022.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Illinois Valley Central, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midland will head out to take on Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Illinois Valley Central, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Joseph-Ogden at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
