Volleyball Recap: Windber Ramblers vs. Meyersdale Red Raiders
Windber proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Meyersdale Red Raiders 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ramblers have posted against the Red Raiders since September 29, 2020.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Windber got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 23-25, 15-10.
Taylor Dzurko paced Windber's offense, picking up 11 kills. Dzurko got some help from Liliana Grillo and her 28 assists. Amber Dunmyer and Adelynn Slatcoff kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.
