Mountain View faced Eagle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mavericks came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 6-3. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-3 win back in April.

Mountain View has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Eagle, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7.

Mountain View has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Owyhee on the 17th. Eagle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
