Softball Recap: Chireno Owls vs. Shelbyville Dragons

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Joaquin, Chireno was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 13-10 win over the Shelbyville Dragons. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Owls' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

K MOORE spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and eight unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.
