Basketball Recap: Sherman Takes a Loss

Sherman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 54-38 bruising from the Anderson Trojans.

Sherman's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Anderson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Sherman will head out on the road to take on Lebanon Trail at 1:45 p.m. on Monday. The Bearcats will be up against the Trail Blazers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Anderson, they will be playing at home against LBJ Austin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
