Basketball Recap: Kenston Bombers vs. Riverside Beavers

The Kenston Bombers came into Friday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past Riverside with a 56-50 win on Friday. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Kenston has managed all season.

Several Beavers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matthew Priest, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Drew Brown, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.

Kenston's win bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenston won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
