Hilltop won the last time they faced Pettisville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hilltop Cadets came out on top against the Pettisville Blackbirds by a score of 54-43. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Blackbirds are ranked 591st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Hilltop and bumps their season record up to 18-3. As for Pettisville, they dropped their record down to 6-16 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
