Soccer Recap: Pickens Comes Up Short

The matchup between Pickens and Walhalla on Friday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Pickens Blue Flame came up short against the Walhalla Razorbacks, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Blue Flame were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Logan Damon, which was the first he's scored this season.

Pickens now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Walhalla, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Pickens wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-2 victory against Blue Ridge on the 11th. As for Walhalla, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Greer Middle College on the 10th.
