Softball Recap: Hertford County Takes a Loss

Hertford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 20-3 to the Manteo Redskins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 on Tuesday.

Hertford County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Manteo, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Hertford County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holmes at 5:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Manteo, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bear Grass Charter at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
