Volleyball Recap: Abbey Pendleton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Indian Creek over Edison + How To Watch

Indian Creek was the 3-0 winner over Edison when they last played one another on September 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Redskins fell 3-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday.

While Indian Creek ultimately came up short, they really made Edison work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-27, 27-25, 25-23.

Indian Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abbey Pendleton, who had 12 digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of TyLee Spencer, who had ten digs and two aces.

Indian Creek's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Edison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will square off against East Liverpool at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edison, they will challenge Harrison Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
