Cold Springs posted their closest victory since March 8th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Meek Tigers. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 5-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cold Springs' victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10-1. As for Meek, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Cold Springs will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hanceville at 2:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Meek, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Meek Tigers face off against Hubbertville Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
