Volleyball Recap: Crescent City Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Crescent City waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Pine Ridge Panthers by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Panthers back in August, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Crescent City walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 16-25, 29-27.

Crescent City got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Bethany Robinson out in front who had 15 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Robinson has posted over her last six matches.

Robinson wasn't the only good servers: Crescent City was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.

Crescent City's record is now 15-9. As for Pine Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Crescent City nor Pine Ridge have any future games scheduled.
