Basketball Recap: Vallejo Comes Up Short

Vallejo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins and fell 70-36. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, with their most recent loss being a 58-47 defeat two weeks ago.

Vallejo's loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-12.

Vallejo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Saint Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Patrick-St. Vincent knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Saint Mary's likes a good challenge.
