Volleyball Recap: Bear River Comes Up Short

Bear River lost against Ridgeline back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears lost 3-0 to the Riverhawks.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-3, 25-16.

Emry Evans paced Bear River's offense, picking up eight kills. Evans got some help from Brynlee Garn and her 14 assists. Garn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Ridgeline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Seini Talakai led the charge by getting ten digs and three assists.

Bear River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Ridgeline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bear River will square off against rival Green Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ridgeline is set to challenge their familiar foe Sky View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
