Ganado is 0-10 against Chinle since April of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Hornets will venture away from home to challenge the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Monday, Ganado got the win against Monument Valley by a conclusive 11-1. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Joshua Mescal was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing six bases while going 3-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last 12 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiyai White, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 1-for-2.

Ganado was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monument Valley only posted a batting average of .188.

Meanwhile, Chinle made easy work of Tuba City on Monday and carried off a 13-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Kennon Sorrell spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Mackaden Arthur and Jakobe Nastacio did most of the damage at the plate: Arthur scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Nastacio scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Arthur has become a key player for Chinle: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 4-9 otherwise. Hage Tsosie was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
