Volleyball Recap: Boron Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

If Vasquez wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Boron, they should've done a better job of containing Mia Naples. The Bobcats came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Naples, who had 23 digs and four aces. Naples is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 24-26, 25-18.

Boron's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-1. As for Vasquez, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Boron will be taking part in a tournament against Owens Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Vasquez, they will welcome Faith Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
