Waynedale posted their biggest win since January 25, 2024 on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 57-3 victory over the Rittman Indians. Given the Golden Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Indians are ranked 747th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Waynedale back to even at 7-7. As for Rittman, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waynedale will challenge Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Rittman, they will take on Medina Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
