Basketball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

If Danville was riding high fresh off their 68-34 takedown of Washington County last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Danville Admirals fell just short of the Henry Clay Blue Devils by a score of 57-54 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Admirals have suffered since December 22, 2023.

Danville dropped their record down to 8-16 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Henry Clay, their win bumped their record up to 6-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Danville will host East Jessamine at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Henry Clay, they will be playing at home against Scott County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Henry Clay knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Scott County likes a good challenge.
