School Without Walls has gone a perfect 8-0 against Eastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Penguins will be playing at home against the Ramblers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

School Without Walls is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Sidwell Friends, who was ranked second at the time (School Without Walls was ranked fifth). The Penguins fell just short of the Quakers by a score of 7-5 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Penguins have suffered since March 7th.

Ellington Hunt and Sean Aldridge did some serious damage despite the final result: Hunt scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Aldridge went 2-for-4 with one home run. Those hits marked the first that Aldridge got this season. Another player making a difference was Theo Weller, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Eastern's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of DC International by a score of 6-4.

Aaron Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rasheed Hardy, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for School Without Walls, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Monday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. School Without Walls has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .453. However, it's not like Eastern struggles in that department as they've averaged .535. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
